No, you don't need to have Masters or Diplo ma in finance and advance accounting tally.
The eligibility you require to become a branch manager is given below;
1. Degree level - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance.
CPA or CFA ( optional ) but it's certification is helpful.
2. Experience - 5 years of financial services as loan officer, financial analyst or assistant Branch manager.
3. Key skills - Customer service, communication, accounting, decision-making, time management skills, knowledge skills, knowledge of federal and state regulation regarding financial reporting.
The duty of branch manager includes,
• Daily operation of financial institution's satellite offices.
• Supervise Branch workers.
• Oversee cash flow and other financial instruments.
• Proper understanding of loan products and a good background in community involvement, etc.
In case you are looking for a promotion and want a prosperous future then you need to have a Master in Finance, economics or related field, you could also go for courses like CFA or CPA because it's certification is really useful and beneficial in promiprom your position.
