All these courses are good. B.Tech is popular but if you want to save your one year you can do BCA. Scope is wide. The demand of IT professionals is increasing not only in India but also in abroad.
A number of top recruiters look for the fresher degree holders for offering opportunity of work with. BCA is one of the demanding courses under the IT sector. After the completion of the course, the student can find a job in reputed IT companies like IBM, Oracle, Infosys, and Google. The student can work as a system engineer, junior programmer, web developer or as a system administrator. This field provides you ample opportunities to make your career not only in private sector but also in the public sector. The government organization like NIC, Indian Army, Indian Air Force and India Navy also recruit large number of computer professionals for their IT department. The IT field is one of the highest paying fields for a fresher. A computer professional working in a big MNC can easily get an initial package of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. We cant compare one degree with other, but as you want to know I would like to share my own experiences (or can say the harsh truth MCA=B.Tech in most of the IT companies).
I have seen one of my colleague who has doneB.Scfrom DU and now sitting in US from last 2 years.
Have seen my juniors (BCA pass out now perusing MCA, these days Master degree is must if your have doneB.Com, LLB or any course for that matter) who have joined 2 years back, and still cant make the amount which I was making when I joined as a fresher(yes i did B.Tech).
So decide and opt the appropriate course for you(because you are the one who exactly knows your own caliber). But if are still confused go with B.Tech(it gives you heads up for promotion, platform and starting salaries differences are also there). Dont forget there are thousands of unemployed engineers and at the same time thousands of talented people are getting good jobs.
Its never the degree which really matters, its all about the dedication, knowledge and the hard work which we put in.
