Hello Chetan!

If you re not interested in research field and teaching then you should not go for Bsc .If you are interested in mathematics and you have some programming exposure in school and want to learn  something more in this field and want to make career in private sector then BCA is good option for you .You can also try B.tech in CSE or IT instead of BCA.

Hope it answer your concerns.

Hi Chethan,

Doing B.Sc in India, you will have to pursue higher studies in abroad. And then again, your options would mainly be research oriented. You can instead go for B.Sc in computer Science, after which you can work for private sectors.

In case of BCA, you can easily get jobs in private and public sector, compared to BSc courses. Also, you have more options to divert fields in case of BCA. This is the option only, as you do not prefer Research field. Otherwise, BSc is a better option too.

All The Best.
