Hi aspirant,

Both courses are good . Both have their own importance and need.

If you are from commerce background and you have interest in the same field and you want to do MCom or MBA CS/CA /CFA etc. then Bcom would be better.

But you hav elost interest in commerce related subjects and you have keen interest in knowing about technology then BCA would be good.

BCAis purely application based programme, where you do programing designing of web,mobile applications and learn only computer related subjects. But different universities have different curriculum.Both courses have great scope.To pursue a BCA programme, one need to not have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects in Class 12th class. Infact, an Arts or Commerce student can join the course as well.

As both are good for banking exams, so choose accordingly if you have these 2 as options only.
