Hope you are doing well. Both the Courses are different and good as well.

BDS is preferred by many students after MBBS. After BDS they prefer BAMS and BHMS. NEET is mandatory to get admission in these courses. There is a good scope of BDS in India. If we talk about BHMS , if you pursue Masters then only there will be scope and only Bachelor's degree can not get good opportunities.

For BDS, the best job titles are Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Prosthodontist, Dental Technician or Consultant. The average fees for BDS is Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 12,00,000.The average salary for BDS is 4-6 lakhs per annum.

For BHMS, the best job titles are Lecturer, Public Health Specialist, Homeopathic Pharmacist, Homeopathic Specialist. The average fees for BHMS is Rs. 30,000 to 10,00,000.The average salary for BHMS is 3 to 4.5 lakh per annum.

See the above fields are well oriented and have good scope ahead. But if you want to have a good clinical exposure or if you want to be a doctor in the government medical hospitals then going for BDS will be better. See for medical purpose there are more infrastructure for the Allopaethic medicine compared to any of the other course. So if you go for BDS you will have a better scope in terms of Government positions as well as you can do a better private clinic than that of BHMS . BHMS  are the natural healers which don't face the emergency cases. But if you go for BDS you will get the charm of being an surgeon as well as you can prescribe medicine which quite similar to that of a MBBS doctor except your are specialized to Dentistry.
