If you want to have a good clinical exposure or if you want to be a doctor in the government medical hospitals then going for BDS will be better. See for medical purpose there are more infrastructure for the Allopaethic medicine compared to any of the other course. So if you go for BDS you will have a better scope in terms of Government positions as well as you can do a better private clinic than that of  BAMS.  BAMS come under the natural healers which don't face the emergency cases. But if you go for BDS you will get the charm of being an surgeon as well as you can prescribe medicine which quite similar to that of a MBBS doctor except your are specialized to Dentistry.

So you can choose any of the fields but BDS will be a more likely if you want to practice as a doctor.
