Hey Shanu,
MBA is a Post Graduate/ Master's degree, which is normally opted for my professionals who are willing to upgrade their presents set of skills. It is an addition to their set view and skills acquired over time.
Meaning to say, these professionals have built set of skills over a period of time through their basic academics, higher college education, Graduation and with work experience in corporate world.
It is a simple criteria set by IIMs for selecting their students. Biggest filter being the CAT examination which is considered to be one of the difficult examinations to crack. You can have a look here for more details for methods of cracking CAT, https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/how-crack-cat-2018-in-first-attempt/amp
Other filter by IIMs being, WAT-PI which stands for Written Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. Check this link for more details regarding cracking WAT-PI, https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/how-crack-gd-pi-wat-rounds-of-top-b-schools/amp
As to answer your question about what to do before facing CAT, WAT and PI, I would recommend you complete a basic graduation of your interest with great percentages. Completion of 10th standard with 2 years of till 12th or a diploma in different fields untill graduation could be done.
Great percentages at all levels is recommended for getting shortlisted by IIMs and then better performance in CAT, WAT and PI would do it for you.
All the best!

Hi,
You need to complete graduation in any of the fields like be, bsc, bcom, bms, ba, etc with good percentages. After that you have to give CAT exam and score more than 99 percentile to get into top IIMs. To get into IIMs, you must get into some extra curricular activities too as it adds to your profile. Do some internships or no work to bring more value to your profile.

Dear aspirant,
You must complete your graduation in btech or bba or bus and then give CAT exam. In CAT exam you have to score very good and then qualify to take admission for IIM to study MBA.
All the best and hope you have a bright and promising career in near future.
Thank You
