To score a rank below 3000 in IITJEE advance , you have to get atleast 68 % of marks out of total marks according to 2017 advance results . Every year , marks v/s increases . So this year it may be around 65-70 % .



But it may change , it all depends on hardness of the paper . If the paper is hard , it may go to 45 % and if it is medium then it can go to 70% .



So don't think about all this , give your best in exam . The rest will be decided by time .

Total marks in jee advanced for both paper 1 and paper 2 varies every year so it is difficult to tell you According to marks but if you can score around 60-65% of the total marks in both jee advanced paper 1 and paper 2 then you can eadily secure that much rank.
