The benefits of Mass Communication are listed below:

  • People can stay connected with the help of mass communication all around the world e.g. Computer, Mobile Phones etc.
  • Permanancy, which refers to  period for which a medium can hold its message thereby making the message reviewable. A reader of a book, newspapers and magazines can read and re-read and store it for a long term.
  • It is also used for launching new products or launching business of the organization.
  • The news of product and business of organization over a large area of country and the world in a given time.
  • In MC, information is reached rapidly and continous disseminates to large and vast number of heterogenous audience.
  • Most important and common benefit is entertainment which is an important part of audience.
  • Mass communication is only the tool for creating foreign market of a product. It is also used for creating new market.
  • Advertisement is the biggest part of marketting. It can be easly done with the help MC.
