Hey,

One thing you should keep in mind is that for being  the most scoring subject Chemistry plays an important and leading role in any kind of competitive exams. So you should study and practise Chemistry in details with intense hardwork, extreme dedication and passion for securing extra-ordinary marks in JEE MAIN and Advanced.

Regarding this, you should follow the books of O.P. Tandon, Himanshu Pandey, Arihant, P.Bahadur, P.W.Atkins (specially for physical chemistry), MORRISON and BOYD (specially for organic chemistry) and J.D.Lee ( specially for inorganic chemistry) to achieve a clear perception about different unknown and interesting aspects of chemistry which are very much helpful especially for the toughest exams like JEE Advanced.

hello aspirant,

it's highly recommended for you to first go through NCERT books , make all the concepts clear and then switch to higher level books,

you can also try to solve exemplar book , the level of questions in that book is very good.

for iit mains and preferably for advance, it is highly recommended to you to go through

HC VERMA for physics

RD SHARMA for maths

PRADEEP publications for chemistry.

also try to solve previous year question papers for all the subjects, it will surely help.

hope that helps

NCERT Textbooks of class 11 and 12 are the best study materials for Mains and Advanced. You should start your preparation with NCERTs as these books are written in Simple language which is understandable to everyone. Also Jee Toppers and experts recommend NCERTS for basic preparation.

To do the best, you need the best books for preparation-

  • PHYSICS
Concepts of physics by HC Verma
Problems in General Physics by I.E Irodov
Objective questions on physics by DC Pandey

  • Mathematics
Maths, RD Sharma
Complete mathematics for JEE advance by TMH
New pattern mathematics for JEE advanced by Arihant publications

  • CHEMISTRY
Physical Chemistry by P.W. Atkins
Numerical Chemistry by P.Bahadur
Organic chemistry by OP Tondon
Chemical calculations by RC Mukherjee

CBSE has reduced the syllabus of Class 9 to 12 by 30% so there is high chance that the syllabus for Jee Main 2021 will also be reduced. However any official statement has not yet released. Please wait to hear it from the authority. Make a proper routine or timetable and devote at least 10 hours a day. During last days, focus more on the important chapters. When done with the syllabus, give mock tests regularly, and solve previous year papers also.
