Best book for the reference in quantum mechanics
hello aspirant...
The first book on QM that i ever read was 'A QUANTUM MECHANICS PRIMER' by D.T.GILLESPIE
Though it's quite old now (1974), I think it is still one of the best starter texts on QM out there. It assumes no more on the part of the reader than familiarity with basic high-schools algebra,and complex numbers. It covers some important topics like ;
* EIGENVALUES AND EIGENVECTORS
* WAVEFUNCTIONS
* QUANTUM OBSERVABLES AND OPERATORS
* THE QUANTUM THEORY OF MEASUREMENT
* THE SCHRODINGER EQUATION
and many more such key topics.
HOPE IT WOULD HAVE HELPED YOU
ALL THE BEST
