Well dear the best known books for CDS and AFCAT are the following :

1)Polity-Lakshmi Kant or PM Bakshi

2)Geography-Class 9-12 NCERT is more than enough.

3)Economics-You may read NCERT for just idea,as questions are normally not asked from here and If asked are very simple Direct.

4)Science-Go for NCERT textbooks

5)Current Affairs-Read newspapers,watch news on TV,keep news updating apps.

6)Maths and English can been sudied from previous year papers.

7)Modern History-Bipin Chandra Will be sufficient

And,If you want to follow a single book you can go for Arihant Pathfinders,also,You must go through and solve previous 10 years papers.
