Hello aditya, the simple answer for your simple question is that there are no best books to clear a particular exam but if there was one then everyone would have bought it and cleared the exam.
BUT still the best books are your NCERTS first. IF YOU can grasp the knowledge and concepts fully then you can go for books like HC VERMA, DC PANDEY, RESNICK HALLIDAY, OP KHANNA, RK GUPTA, RD SHARMA and along with these competitive books you should go for 10 YEAR question paper books from the publishers available.
I hope this helps. all the best.
Hi Aditya ,
There is no such book as the best books , as someone could understand the same concept from another book. But I can suggest you books that you can start with, for mains
1. Physics:- Concept of Physics l&ll by H.C. Verma would be very beneficial for concept grabbing. And I.E.Irodov would help you in numerical solving.
2. Chemistry:- NCERT books are more than enough for mains .
3. Mathematics:- it will be Cengage and Arihant.
Now , for advance , you can go with Cengage and Arihant for maths .But you should take books of either Bansal coaching classes or FIITjee cause they have better explanation.
And try to do mock tests to help you with your Concept and thinking.
Hope your queries were answered.
Thank you.
Hello Aspirant,
JEE Mains is conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA) twice an year(from 2019), to provide admissions into various undergraduate courses in various prestigious colleges like NITs,IIITs etc..One session was already held in January and the next coming session will be held in April.Since there is very less time and also boards are approaching, it is better you prepare smarter.
For any competitive exam, the whole syllabus is to be divided into 4 parts according to their weightage and level of difficulty,
- High Weightage, Less Effort(easy): These are the most important group ofchapters. You must complete these chapters thoroughly.Since they require less effort, try to excel in these topics to score more.
- High weightage, High Effort(hard): These are the second most important group of chapters. You will probably have to spend a lot of time on these chapters.
- Low weightage, Less Effort(easy):These are the chapters you can do only when you have time left after completing the first two.
-
High weightage, High Effort (hard): Forget these chapters! You dont need to worry about them. Focus on the above three types of chapters instead.
