IEM is one of the best private college under wbjee list and if you appear in wbjee that there cut off may very for resident of west bengal and outsider.

as per previous year 2019 consideration for all student

its cutoff for cse branch cutoff last at rank of approx 2000.

its cutoff for ece branch cutoff last at rank of approx 3700.

for electronics and communication EEE it last at 4200.

for information and technology it last at about 3500

i won't suggest any other branch but you may think of your self as per your interest i'm saying that keeping placement in my mind

and for electrical you need to get ranked under 5500 and for mechinical it may last at 5000.

other college such as Hertage institute of Technology is also better option

you may also go for techno india salt lake ,netaji subhas engineering college these are also good keeping their placement and academics in consideration.
