hi yuvraj ,let me tell you the ideal way of preparing for physics, your marks will definitely go high ,

physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too, good luck

Hello Yuvraj,

As per your query about preparation of Physics for NEET UG entrance exam, I would like to suggest following tips

1.Make your own study plan and follow it properly with dedication and PATIENCE....

2. Devote most of time say 80 % in NEET preparation and 20 % in board exam preparation

3. Practice MCQS on daily basis

4. Correct your mistakes

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.

KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books

BOOKS -

Concept of physics by H C Verma

Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep

Objective physics by DC Pandey

BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so dont go by all books mentioned here and there

Important topics which cover about 70 % , around 30 - 32 ques/ each year for last 10 years out of a total of 45 ques/year

Kinematics

Rotational Motion

Gravitation

Thermal Physics

Wave Motion and Doppler's effect

Electrostatic

Current Electricity and effects of Current

Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism

Ray optics and Optical Instruments

Modern Physics

Semiconductors and Digital Electronics.

Hi

Physics is a kind of subject where you need to understand the concept very well and try to apply to the daily life. In that why you understand it more better. Try to listen different kind of lectures from online like BYJU, Khan Academy or even from YouTube you can access to different channels and learn through the language you are comfortable in.

You can also try solving different MCQs from different websites and in that way you can test your concepts.

Try to solve as many problems as possible if you are preparing for the competitive exams. So each and every time you can easily understand the concept.

All the best.

Hello aspirant,

As you said, you are having difficulty in physics-

Here are some tips that might help you-

1) Have a good knowledge and understanding of every topic covered in classes. If you do not understand any topic, study that again and clear all your doubts you have in your weak topic.

2) Practice lot of questions on every topic in physics.

You can solve the exemplar problems of the NCERT.

You can take refreshers which have good mcq.

3) You may have difficulty in managing your time. For that you should practice time bound questions at home. This will definitely improve your question solving ability.

4) If you are having a lot of negative questions in physics, you may be having some concept wrong in your mind or not reading the question properly.

Also at times, there are calculation mistakes.

Identify your mistake and rectify it.

5) If you are having difficulty, that you are not able to guess where to start the question, or what concept should be applied, for this you should solve the same question with the help of ans. Key, then practice lot of questions on that concept and you would be having a whole group of questions that you can definitely attempt right in the exam.

6) Do solve solved examples in the refreshers or notes, you might be using. Try to solve them by your own. If you cannot do it, look at the solution for help and attempt that again in a notebook. Do not leave the question just by reading the solution and assuming that you got it.

Lastly, do not panic while attempting or watching the physics section. Have confidence that you can definitely solve the question. Read it with patience and try to apply whatever you have studied.

Identify your strong and weak topics in physics, revise all the formula always whenever you go for a test and practice a lot of questions on your weak areas.

Physics is not tough. It just needs a method to study and hard work in form of practice.

Do mention any of your doubts or any specific difficulty you are having in physics.

All the best!!
