Hello,
Both the courses are good and are different.
Mechanical engineering deals with the mechanics of physics and science to analyze, manufacture and design mechanical systems. Whereas Computer Science is a branch of engineering which deals in the study of basics of computer programming and networking, which includes topics related to computation, algorithms, programming languages, program design, computer software, computer hardware, etc
You should choose based on which field you find more interesting, since then you will be able to perform well in that field and get better placement offers.
Still out of the two courses the scope for getting jobs with decent salary packages is higher for CSE as compared to Mechanical Engineering.
