If you meant CSE & ECE and Computer science courses, first you have to figure out what interests do you carry. If you want to pursue engineering in computer science, that would be the better option instead of any other computer related courses.

As for further placements, degree really matters and the things you are gonna learn in engineering, carries a better career opuurtunites.
