Both BHMS & BDS are good courses but they have there intentions different. BHMS targets to treat patients in distress (no specific diseases) with the help of Biochemical & Homeopathic Medicine. The treatment usually takes a good amount of time & it isn't a great emergency savy clinical procedure.
BDS intend to treat patients having distress in Dental regions with the Allopathic medicine & with the help of surgical procedures if required.
This are the basic intentions of both the fields.
Now Homeopathic Medicine is a field which isn't that much relevant to patients compared to Allopathic medicine. As a result, if you are dreaming of practicing in private, then it won't be that great as it is in case of Allopathic Medicine. Apart from it, if you want to get the feel of surgery and treating patients then going for the BDS will be a great choice. Also, in BDS you can have very good chances to be a private practitioner.
