---------------------) What is BCA

BCA is a  3 year ug i. e undergraduate programme in the field of computer science & IT i. e information technology.

Throughout this course, you study topics like

• fundamentals of computer,

• programming languages,

• database management,

• networking,

• Web designing ,

• operating systems, etc.

>>>>>>>> BCA eligibility criteria

• You need to pass 10+2 in order to be eligible for Bca.

• And in general at least 50 % marks in 12th is required.

In some of the colleges , it's mandatory to have maths in 10+2 in order to be eligible for BCA

For example,

While in most of the colleges,

It is not mandatory to have Maths in 10+2 in order to be eligible for BCA, in these colleges students who have passed 10 + 2 in any stream are eligible for BCA.

• For chandigarh university, students who have passed 12th in any stream ( arts, commerce, science etc) from a recognised board  are eligible for BCA. You can check the same at
