Biology is not only useful in veterinary practice but also mandatory to take admission in B.V.Sc. & AH Programme. Only after completing this 5 year long programme one can become a veterinary doctor and practice. Example, Eligibility for BVSC @ Birsa Agricultural University : Students from Biology stream after completing 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) including English are being admitted on annual basis through State Entrance Test (85%) and National Entrance Test (15%) conducted by JCECEB, Jharkhand at State level and V.C.I. at national level respectively.
