About this course:

  • It is a four year undergraduate degree course.
  • It covers topics such as agricultural science, land surveying, modern technology and its uses in agriculture, soil science, animal and poultry management, water resource management, basics of biotechnology etc.
  • Agronomy, soil science, plant genetics, entomology, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics, agricultural meteorology, horticulture, plant pathology, agricultural extension, horticulture, biochemistry, microbiology etc, are some courses covered in this degree programme.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • You need to have cleared your 12th grade examination with physics, chemistry and biology from a recognised board or institution. You need a minimum of 40-50% marks in your examinations.
  • You might have to appear for a state examination or a university based examination in order to get into a university.
