Yes, although BIT stands a level up of DSCE in ranking, choosing DSCE is a good option.

• DSCE has much better infrastructure. Picturesque Landscaped campus.
• Fest conducted in DSCE is pretty popular compared to BIT. Fashion shows, DJ Night, concerts, even movie promotions,etc.
• DSCE has collaborations with other foreign universities to ease on boarding of their students perusing higher education.
• Soft Skills programmes are conducted every semester which is mandatory to attend to prepare their candidates for personality development and interviews.
• World class International Hostel and cafeteria.
• Proximity to Sagar Hospital for medical emergency.
• Yoga and spiritual centre for students who fall into depression easily.
• College management is up to the mark.
• Desplinary committe here are usually retired defence personnel.
• Good number of companies do come for campus placements. This is the only area where BIT has a upper hand as more numbers get placed from BIT compared to DSCE. Need to strive a bit hard to fall in that number.

Before making a decision, please note the following. Engineering is just not about getting into good college or good grades and landing in a good pay job. If you do not get a job on campus, need not worry there are plenty of opportunities outside which would a little more time to get the job. But the 4 years of engineering college life is going to be memorable and make the best out of it. Be it in terms of studying or enjoying.
