Birla institute of technology, Patna the campus is not approved by UGC. But it hardly makes a difference if you're opting for Engineering as it is approved by AICTE . So , you need not to worry.

The government has other eligibility criteria to helo you take advantage of the scheme . So dont worry you will still be eligible for student credit card
