Hi Vamsi,

I would suggest CSE or ECE in IIIT Hyderabad is much better than BITS, Pilani.

The reason I say that is because according to 2018 placement statistics, the average package of CSE and ECE in IIIT Hyderabad was 23.5 LPA and 18 LPA respectively.

Whereas, the average package of CSE and ECE in BITS Pilani was 10 to 12 LPA.

The above mentioned numbers are ridiculous, afa Pilani is considered. Firstly BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus has no ECE. It has EEE and EnI branches.Pilani has an average of 12.8 lpa combining all branches including pharmacy.Ref: https://epcbits.wordpress.com/2019/04/29/placements/Although branch wise data for current year havent been realeased it clearly tops 25 lakhs

These numbers are absolutely spot on regarding the average package.The overall package was 11.47 LPA in 2018.Yes, I admit that ECE is not there in Pilani campus but I meant to say the combined Electronics branches, i.e., EEE and EIE in my original answer.And, nobody can compare the packages of CSE in IIIT Hyderabad and BITS Pilani.IIIT Hyderabad wins hands down every year.
