BITSAT CONSIDER NORMALIZATION BETWEEN EXAMS TAKEN ON DIFFERENT DAYS ? I MEAN IF I HAVE GOT 272 ON 21ST PAPER AND ANOTHER STUDENT HAS GOT 380 ON 16TH PAPER.. ONLY SCORE COUNTS OR LEVEL OF PAPER IS CONSIDERED?
hi,
BITS exam conducts authority would decide a exact cutoff based on Highest score gets in the entrance examination, Difficulty level of the examination, Number of candidates appearing for the examination, Total number of seats available for admission, performance of candidates in the exam, previous years records of cutoff of stream wise, now tie breaking rule of bitsat is as follows,
- First their scores obtained in Mathematics/Biology in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
- If the tie still exists, then their scores in Physics in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
- Further tie is eliminated using their scores in Chemistry in BITSAT.
- Finally, their PCM total marks in 12th examination will be considered for their
- separation.

BITSAT - one of the most national reputed exam organised by BITS (BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE) for admission in undergraduate courses in bits pilani, bits goa and bita Hyderabad.
The difficulty level of bits exam can be compared to jee advanced. In all slots, difficulty level of the bitsat exam is near about same.
So that, no student thinks that in this slot paper is hard or easy from the other slots.
The reason its not normalized because, bits have a very huge question bank from which they can select a random set of questions. And they classify some questions like easy, medium, hard etc. for all slots so that no student can be able to complain.
Overall, the bottom line is that if you have prepared properly with dedication, then you will not complain and can secure a good score in bitsat.
So, only your scores will be the deciding factor in getting admission to bits.

Hello Appubhai,
As per BITSAT , we do not see normalization of marks in different shifts .
which means that in BITSAT exam, admission is purely based upon the BITSAT Scores he/she has achieved in the exam , irrespective of the shift or difficulty of exams. You will get to see your marks as soon as you submit your response sheet. Then after some days the cutoff marks of BITSAT are released.(Usually around 250-270 min. for a stream)
