LEGAL REASONING-
The CLAT 2022 question paper will feature 35-39 questions in the Legal Reasoning section, with a weightage of roughly 25%. The section's questions will be based on 450-word texts and will not need the applicant to have any prior knowledge in order to answer them. Legal issues, public policy issues, moral philosophical inquiries, and other topics will be addressed in the questions.
Bare Acts of Indian Constitution
LexisNexis Butterworths
Legal Awareness and Legal Aptitude by AP Bhardwaj
Universal’s CLAT Guide
LOGICAL REASONING
The logical thinking section will be weighted at approximately 20%, or about 28-32 questions. Questions will be based upon the texts that will be roughly 300 words long each. Reading these texts, the applicant is required to derive premises and conclusions, recognise arguments, analyse patterns, and make inferences. Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Aggarwal
Analytical and Logical Reasoning by R.S. Aggarwal
Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey
QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES-
Quantitative Techniques will be the least weighted area of the five, with roughly 13-17 questions and a 10% weighting. However, this does not negate the value of the section; if the applicant can scrape out a few points, it will all add up to a higher total score, and hence a greater chance of being considered for a seat or a preferred NLU.
