Physiotherapy is a branch of medical sciences that deals with the prevention and treatment of physical dysfunction in patients.
The key responsibilities of a physiotherapist include rehabilitation of such patients and ensuring that they are able to carry out their day-to day activities with little or no assistance.
Eligibility criteria for admission to physiotherapy colleges in India
- Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
- General category candidates must have scored 50 percent or above in Class 12.
