brief report on electronic and communication vs instrumentation and control ! (introduction , subjects , future opportunities , placement , type of job/work and many other point that need to highlighted )
Hello Aspirant,
Electronics and Communication engineering focuses on electronics instruments in systems basically deals with various electronic circuits ,analogue transmission, satellite comms
Instrumentation and Control Engineering focuses on measurement and control of various process variables and applying the control theory in system design although it is considered as a spin off from EEE but it is different in terms of application.
Coming to subjects to be taught ECE will focus on Basic Electronics,Analogue Circuits and transmission, communication system(digital and analogue),SSD(Solid State Device),waves
Subjects under ICE will focus on more Control theory and its application, linear integrated circuits, industrial management and other papers which come under EEE.
Under ICE you will be offered jobs under process industry, factory automation, you can also be offered jobs from elctronics sector, electrical sector, even you have scope of jobs from biomedics from companies like ABB,Bosch,Invensys. with an average package of around 3.5 LPA
Under ECE you have scope such as Electronics circuit designing, signal processing, embedded systems, microprocessor etc. by companies like NVIDIA,HP,Samsung,Intel etc. with an average pay package of 4LPA as a fresher
Hope this will help you
Regards
