Placement in any department depends on the skills that one acquires over the four years of college.

Chemical also has good placements in companies like Vedanta and many PSUs also.

The most important thing is to get a decent CGPA over the course of four years , taking up relevant internships and acquiring all the relevant skills.

Chemical engineering is a good branch. It is also a core branch. Now coming to your question, you have asked whether you will get placement or not . Placement mostly depends on the candidate and the training placement cell of the college. If you would have mentioned your college, I could present you the previous years placement records of your college. I would suggest you to work hard on learning essential skills, improve your communication skills and you will surely get placement.
