BSc Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate programme that focuses on agricultural scientific research and activities, including Genetics and Monoculture Farming, Agro Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, and so on. This is a professional degree in agricultural science recognised by the Indian government.
Students interested in the BSc Agriculture programme must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Completion of Intermediate (12 years of schooling) in the Science stream with a grade point average of 50%.
Subjects of study include physics, chemistry, biology, and/or mathematics.
Candidates must complete Intermediate in Agriculture (limited states) are also eligible to apply for the programme. A few colleges also hold their own college and university entrance examinations to admit students to this programme.
The candidate must have finished their 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognised board.
For direct merit-based admissions, applicants must apply to the college of their choice and participate in personal interviews. If you are chosen for further consideration, you will be granted admission.
Students who wish to be admitted based on entrance tests must take entrance exams, after which they will be contacted for counselling and assigned a place in a college for this course depending on their exam grades.
