Well the faculty of JSS Mysore is really good and also the lab facilities available there are pretty decent and apt for practical work. Since Bio-Tech is a vocational and interdisciplinary course, the coursework is more focused on the practical work and hence the college can be a good choice for admission in bachelor program. Also the teaching methods adopted are unique and very focused on the subject.

JSS academy of higher education and research has excellent rating by students for its infrastructure, students faculty ration, excellent lab facility and so on. however to make  progress on biotechnology like research areas you have to pursue m.sc or integrated phd course on biotechnology. biotechnology is an interdisciplinary stream and it has well exposure for research and development in near future. however I suggest you to besides studying your b.sc course prepare parallel for iit jam exam , based on iit jam score you can get admission in iits on m.sc in biotechnology course.
