Manipal University is one of the best Private Universities in India with excellent faculty, infrastructure, research and training facilities. You may pursue B.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Manipal School of Life Sciences and pursue a career of Research or Academia in Future. Most of the Students after B.Sc. in Biotech at MSLS, move to higher technical institutions in India/Abroad for a MS/MSc./PhD in Biotechnology.

However, this is only if youre interested in Research or Academia in future. Incase youre not sure, I believe you may prefer going for a B.Tech Degree. After B.Tech, you have many Non Core options like Finance, Business Development, ITES, Biotechnology, Consulting, Data Science domains where you may be ensured of opportunities irrespective of your Branch.
