Hello Aspirant,
As the name suggests, B.Tech in biotechnology is more of technology driven. You will learn more about the technological aspects of biology and you will learn the applications of it. B.Tech degree in Biotechnology will teach you about biological sciences as well as engineering aspects. The syllabus includes life science subjects such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology etc and engineering subjects like Bio process Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Mass Transfer etc.
On the other hand B.Sc degree focuses more on the biological sciences aspect of Biotechnology.
You will learn about Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Genetics. B.Sc degree focuses more on the biological sciences.
I would suggest you to pursue B.tech in biotechnology because it will offer you kore opportunities and if you will do B.Sc then you will have to do M.Sc to get a good job.
I hope this helps
