Both domains are the best domains and dairy is a branch of biotechnology which gives knowledge about the dairy product manufacturing , dairy technologies etc, But if you go for bsc in biotechnology you will learn about animal biotech, plant biotech , microbiology, Dairy technology , biochemistry , immunology and many more subject , but if you go for dairy science your knowledge will be in one direction so , go for biotechnology you will get knowledge from different domains.  All the best!!

Both biotechnology and dairy science are very different courses at its core . Food technology is a subset of biotechnology. Biotechnology has many subsets within it one being food technology. Apart from this it has industrial , medical , agriculture,  plant ,animal etc. Biotechnology has both academic and industrial elements attached to it while dairy science only revolves around industrial sector.

So it would be better if you choose biotechnology over dairy science as it would give you a vast knowledge and a good exposure to both academic and industrial sector.
