About B.Sc. in Dairy Technology:

• It is an undergraduate course which deals with science and technology involved in one domain of agriculture. Dairy science in particular deals with the technology involved in the rear and care of the dairy farm animals, production and quality check of dairy products.
• It revolves around science of bacteriology, biotechnology and nutrition, along with some principles of subjects like physics, chemistry, engineering and economics. 
• The study also deals with experiments focusing at the effects of different kinds of feed, research which regards the preventions of damage and wastage of milk and its products, and environmental conditions which affect milk production.
• The course is a three year undergraduate programme.

• There are multiple research opportunities available in countries like Switzerland, Australia, Denmark and USA for research in dairy technology.
• You can also get employed as a food inspector. A food inspector does a proper and definite quality and quantity check of all products and conditions of product manufacturing. 
• One also can get employment as a professor/teacher in institutes which take up courses dealing with reasearch and development in the dairy industry.
• Major employement areas after this course are educational institutes, manufacturing companies, production companies, milk plants, logistics departments, livestock farming, cattle breeding centres, dairies etc.
• Major employment roles include those of area sales manager, market development manager, product development manager, project manager, commodity trading manager, quality assurance and control manager, regional procurement manager, head quality control, junior research associate etc.
