The eligibility criteria for applying for this course is 10+2 in the Science stream , completed from a recognized educational Board. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.  Admission criteria varies from college to college. Some colleges give direct admission on clss 12 marks, some colleges consider valid score in relevant entranve tests and some colleges conduct their own entrance test for admission into bsc forestry.

The average salary of bsc forestry in india varies between 5000 to 3 lacs.
