Both the fields are good but the choice is yours. Because you will obviously perform well in what you like. But speaking practically Btech in IT would be a good choice as Btech degree has more value because it gives you practical and theoritical knowledge. And if you get a good college then you will have good placements and faculty for Btech IT. Bsc degree comparatively had low value has it will not give more exposure to practical knowledge. I would suggest you to go for B.Tech in Information Technology over B.Sc. (IT), considering the excellent career scope and placement prospects in B.Tech IT at most Technical Universities and Standard Engineering Colleges in India.

However, this is my perspective, in case you go for B.Sc.(IT) maybe due to financial or monetary issues, you must follow it up with a MCA from Some of the Top NITs or GFTIs like BIT Mesra, for better career scope and placements.
