Hello,
One thing you need to note here is BSc degree is mostly a research oriented program, whose curriculum is not designed to make you ready for jobs rather it is designed to provide you accurate knowledge about your field so that you can later pick up research positions. So, don't compare it with let's say BTech which is an engineering based degree.
For this research based degree, the jobs opportunities are also on similar lines. If you are a student, who has just completed their BSc degree, there are certain job options you could explore. These include being a teacher, a technical writer, a research analyst, professor (given that you go onto MSc and PhD).
