For example: you got marks in 5 subjects are. For getting average marks add all the numbers
60+55+75+90+56= 336
Now divide the sum by total no. Of Subjects
336/5= 67.2%
Now it means the average marks are more than 45%. In this way you become eligible for taking admission in the college.
