btech biomedical engineering or btech genetic engineering which has better scope
Dear friend,
Over all, the demand of biomedical in India is at peaks level.
Basically, biomedical stream offers high career prospects. Biomedical engineers can be offered by all multi-speciality hospitals and for development of devices for easing medical equipments.
After graduation in biomedical engineering :one persue MBA in hospital management this can offer better career prospects apart from this one can take research in biomedical field in institute like IIT Delhi, etc.
Genetic engineering is a narrow dimension towards bio technology side and it is a specialization course if you are not sure about genetics you can go with biomedical.
By choosing biotechnology, you may find some Electronic and electrical subjects, that you may be placed in medical sector too with decent package.
Now, its all up to you to choose your career, all the best.
I hope the information is helpful, thank you.
To simply answer this I'd say biomedical engineering
Now you would be wondering why I said that, here's the reason
Biomedical engineering is a vast field and not a specific or specialized branch it's a big interdisciplinary field of study which includes genetic engineering under is aswell.
The basic things is that genetic engineering is a specialization course and if you are not very sure of what u want to choose as of now you can go for biomedical engineering then u can go for specialization in genetic engineering.
Hope it helps... All the best!!!
