This is a very classic question. The course sounds to be the same although there is a big deviation in both the course. I am providing you a very rough answer but you can map it in order to distinguish the course types and you can choose the course that can fulfil your aspirations.
BTech Biotechnology is more industry oriented. The development and production management as well as designing and application are the sole responsibility of Biotechnologists. After BTech Biotechnology there is a lot of scope to work in different companies with decent package and good career growth.
BSc Biotechnology is more academic related field. The field is concerned in the development of new techniques and theories in order to increase the efficiency of the process. Now after BSc Biotechnology there are very few scope to work in industry. So you have to pursue MSc Biotechnology in order to get a decent job. This course is more research oriented so if you have research as a priority then go for it but if you are more interested in jobs then I would recommend you to go for BTech Biotechnology.
**This doesn't mean in any way that BTech Biotechnologist can't do research but its more over on the applied portions of Biotechnology which helps to get jobs more easily.
