hi,
see biotechnology is a interdisciplinary stream and it has a challenging industry for future. now coming to difference between b.tech and b.com (//b.com) course, b.tech course duration is 4 years, where b.sc course is of three years duration. however b.tech is more practical oriented and you would get work opportunity for production and manufacturing industry related with biotechnology. however b.sc course is generalized course and to get job as professor or research analyst you need to pursue m.sc or m.sc+ phd after b.sc. however after b.tech if you go for m.tech course or integrated phd course, then also you may join as research analyst position in biotechnology field.
so by reviewing all course and time duration, it is best to go for b.sc course since you have only interested for research domain.
Hi student,
B.Tech would be a more practical course and B.Sc. is a normal graduation course in Biotechnology. Now, if we look for research perspective, you should go with B.Tech only as practical learning is always preferred.
