No, B.Tech Chemical Engineering and M.Sc Chemistry are different from each other. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Chemical Engineering is four years undergraduation degree course where as Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry is two years Post Graduation degree course. The depth of subjects differs from each course. There will be some similar subjects and some are different. M.Sc Chemistry is higher course than B.Tech Chemical Engineering because it is Post Graduation degree course.
For getting admission into B.Tech Chemical Engineering, the candidates must hvve passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from science stream from a recognised board. For admission into M.Sc Chemistry the candidates must pass in undergraduation degree course for a recognised College of University.
Average salary offered for B.Tech Chemical Engineering graduates is Rs. 3.5 Lakhs per annum to Rs. 6 Lakhs per annum.
