B.Tech has a good job offers as that of M.Tech in Abroad? M.Tech is best or MBA for higher positions in companies after B.Tech ... ?
Hi Vihaa
As far as my analysis goes i would suggest you to go for MS as in abroad especially in US ,Canada or Germany it is in trend. Moreover those who go for doing this course start earning along with their studies. Mtech and MBA both holds equal weightage in their own respective arena.
And in terms of Btech and Mtech then Mtech preferred more because a higher degree or work experience makes you more employable in abroad too.
Though the chunk of students doing Mtech is less. This course is tantamount to MS outside India. That's why Mtech is less preferred.
While comparing Mtech with MBA I would say to go for MBA because Mtech as I already mentioned does not hold much value outside India whereas global MBA does hold weightage.
Good luck with your career ahead.
Thanks
MBA develops you holistically. While Mtech is a specialization only in your own field.
So it's better to go for MBA although it is personal preference that matters.
Confining the criteria to jobs and future value only, MBA has better ROI.
You can easily get into higher positions if you have an MBa compared to if you have the Mtech degree.
All the best.

Hi,
Bachelor degree is always in less demand as compared to Masters degree. Now to compare MTech and MBA won't be a fair comparison.
An MBA gets a totally different position in an organization as compared to MTech graduate. MBA gets a more management related position and MTech gets a technical position.
So You can decide over your interest whether you wanna pursue MTech of MBA.
But I would suggest choosing MBA as MBA is more in demand as compared to MTech.
Hi Vihaa,
Its not like B.Tech has good job offers as that of M.Tech in abroad. After B.Tech, it depends on your interest not on the course. If ypu want to get a higher positions in any organisation then it should be refelcted in your work that you have done for the organisation. And for that your interst matters the most.
If you like being in technical field or want to be a lecturer then you should go for M.Tech. You can be at a good psition after doing M.Tech also. If you are intersted in management then only you should go for MBA. Again specialisation in MBA depends on your interest. You can never give you best in any field unless you have genuine interest in working on it.
So, degree do play some role but what matters most is your interest as it is a long term goal. It is not easy to step bac once you chose a field. So, it is always better to chose the one you are intereted in. It will give you long term benefits.
All the Best
Hello Vihaa,
M.Tech definitely has higher edge than B.Tech but make sure you are doing it from recognised university in abroad.
Job opportunities in M.tech are more towards technical domain.
MBA gives you an managerial position and it depends on College from where you do and what's the salary they offer.
It totally depends on candidate interest, if you wish to stick to your domain do M.Tech and if want to lean towards Management area go to MBA.
Hope it clears your doubts. All the best
Hey Vihaa!
Initially, if you are able to secure a good role in a company with a good package after Btech. Then, go for it. Get a few years of work experience and do MBA from abroad. This is worth it. As after a while, you will be stagnant in your job, lack of promotion due to lack of MBA degree. So, do MBA after a while.
But, in case you plan to do MTech, it will be the same. It depends upon your future preference and field of interest. As, it would pay you a good amount, but not comparable enough to the perks of the corporate life.
Best wishes for your future.
Hi Harish ,
This is quite a common question everone will have in their under graduation. I am an ECE engineer and even I was confused of what to no next.I depends on your long term interests. You must what opportunities these fields will open up to and then decide. For example say your interest lies in coding, circuit design , robotics etc then you might want to pursue M.tech or MS for landing up in engineer jobs. On the other hand if you like management roles like brand manager , marketing manager ,etc then you can go for MBA. I know it is a tough choice but I suggest you to go with your passion instead of considering other variables like package , ROI , etc. I took up MBA because I was convinced I fit in management roles. Take your time , explore your interests and then decide instead of jumping into conclusions. All the best !
Hello,
A postgraduate degree (MBA or MTech) often provides better job offers abroad.
For higher positions and better packages, a masters qualification is integral. In this context, the MBA, MTech and MS programs offered abroad are not comparable. MBA is generally for management related positions in a company whereas MS and MTech are more inclined to research and technology-based.
Generally, it has been seen that MBA candidates from top universities often get better packages and positions than MS or MTech students due to the versatility of the qualification. Many MS students may require additional certifications/qualifications in order to land the desired job profile. If you are inherently interested in technology or any of the subjects of study in BTech then MS or MTech is a better option. If you are more inclined to less technical and management-based roles then MBA is a better option.
What you want do after B.Tech depends on your interest. As for the roles, both MBA and M.Tech lead to better roles in companies. But, choosing one depends on your interest and what you like to do. If you want to do management roles, go for MBA. Otherwise, go for M.Tech for technical roles

If you are not interested in learning technology any more , only then you should pursue MBA . You should have cleared any one entrance test ( such as CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT/GMAT/NEST ) and should also have min of 45% to 55% in your bachelors .you can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Some Good Colleges are: IIMs , XLRI
