Hi
As per your question Both BCA and BTech are very fashionable courses in India. While B.Tech computing
and Engineering focuses on intensive programming, developing new technologies and ideas , and
mathematical skills, BCA focuses more on practical technologies and applications utilized in lifestyle .
BTech is more about developing concepts and testing them, whereas BCA is that the study of putting
these concepts to use.
It is difficult to mention which one among the 2 graduate degrees is best , because they're not only
fundamentally different in terms in fact content, eligibility and duration, but also in terms of the career
avenues they provide .
If you've got completed your 10+2 with PCM and you think that you'll crack one among the engineering
entrance exams, then BTech may be a good selection . However, if you've got passed your 10+2 in
Commerce, Art or Medical stream, but you've got decided to shift your focus thereto , your only option
may be a BCA.
Both BCA and BTech graduates are industry-ready and may seek employment in IT industry or other
related fields. However, BTech may be a more professionally valued course, and there are more career
options available for BTech graduates compared to BCA graduates. Nonetheless, BCA graduates also can
pursue a MCA degree (3-year course), get the engineer tag, and better their career prospects.
As far because the course fee cares , the value of BCA is lesser than BTech. However, because a BCA
graduate must do a MCA to match a BTech graduate, the general cost of professional education may is
higher for a BCA graduate.
As per a recent NASSCOM and McKinsey report the Indian Information Technology (IT) industry is poised
to grow from $132 billion in 2014-15 to $225 billion by 2020 and can touch $350 billion by 2025. The
report also shows that the primary $100 billion will generate around two million jobs within the
industry. So, whichever degree you select to pursue, be assured that you simply are getting to be a part
of a strong and dynamic industry.
Hope helpful.
