Although, these two degrees should not be compared, yet we can say that B.tech is a better option. This is because, if you are a decent student academically, you will still be drawing better salary after completing you B.tech in India as compared to a B.sc degree(I am talking about initial salary only).
However, if you are a bright student, you may go with B.sc as well. This is because you will still be able to chase your dream job. Finally, its upto you. If you are really serious about your career and ready to work hard for it, success will follow you.
Also, do remember this very famous saying-
“If you don’t do something extra to stand out from the crowd, you become the crowd.”
