Hello,
As per your question asked above, i can tell you from my research and knowledge which i have done for it when i was through the same stage that, btech is always preffered more than bsc even in case of agriculture.
Btech agri studuent are given much more preference than bsc agri as btech is equivalent to bsc+msc. The syllabus of btech covers more teachical and more information, knowledge on agriculture than a bsc syllabus as it has only theoretical concepts.
So basically and technically a btech graduate sounds better for skill required in Agriculture sector jobs as compard to bsc.
But at last it totally depends whether the candidate can study the btech syllabus properly or not as its tougher than bsc. It totally depends on the students interest and capacity nd career goals and then decide btech or bsc as btech students have technical line job want and bsc students have research oriented career goals.
Ultimately depends on students skills and interest and future goals.
Good luck
