But I have read somewhere that for female reservation in civil services examination u need NCL certificate . but as I belong to general category whether I will get NCl as the income of my parents is above 8 lakh as he is subhedar in army .

HEY

If you want to take benefits of female reservations then you do not have to follow any process. You should mention in your gender section 'Female' and you are eligible to take the reservation. There is no such process to be followed to take gender based reservations.

The rank below Lt.colonl is treated as non creamy layer in Army which has been published in the government Gazget. That published that in the Army the child of Army personnel whose rank below lieutenant colonel like Subedar is treated as NCL . As your father belongs to subhedar in the army then you will be treated as non creamy layer category.
