SMEAT 2025: Complete Guide | Preparation Guide
Hello Aspirant,
From last year onwards the NTA introduced the new result declaration pattern to make the resulty in very fair manner, which is percentile system of evaluation. So, in this system the percentile is little bit difficult to predict in advance because it depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing in exam, difficulty level of paper. However I am telling you the closing ranks and giving you the general idea of percentile for your category :-
Last year ST category rank upto which a candidate got admission is 9939 for Chemical engineering and it was around 9300 for ECE and mechanical engineering. Hence you should try to secure your category rank under the above mentioned ranks. In order to secure this much rank you should try to secure around 98.8-99 percentile (this may change) and as you have not mentioned your home state so I have described about general ranks for other state quota.
For getting previous year closing rank of other branches in NIT Srinagar refer to the link given below :-
