it is ok to make a wrong choice intially , you can rectify it .

You  should contact the department and ask them to make the changes . If there is seat available in electrical branch . Then you will surely get it or otherwise .

it is all matter of seat availability .

I think you should contact the admission office of the respective university as soon as possible. Don't worry even if you are not able to fix this problem now, After first year almost all university allows the students to change the course if they want to.

In the first year the all engineering departments have almost the same syllabus irrespective of their fields. So, don't worry.

I am afraid you will not be able to change your preference once locking the choice options. Also, you might be able to do that once you get to second or third round of the counselling.



Kindly be careful while selecting options. You can only do one thing, you can reach out the customer care numbers and ask them to help you out if in anyway they can but that's done in very rare cases.
